NWA Pirate Month
« on: September 17, 2012, 01:36:18 PM »
September is Pirate Month at Nunawading Wargames Association (http://www.nwa.org.au/) and we kicked it off in style with Legends of the High Seas.

A peaceful cove.

My Cajun pirates return fire at some Royal Marines.

A line of scurvy cutthroats advances.

Crews clash on a cove.

High adventure on the high seas.

Sack the town!

Pirates raid a coastal village.

Sail to the horizon.

More to follow...

When I saw NWA I thought a rather notorious American rap group had started wargaming!

Surely every month is pirate month?

Great scenery on  a huge table, I'd love to play on that :)

May I also hijack this thread in truly swashbuckling fashion and point you to the following thread  ;)

I'll see what I can do Cherno, always liked the look of your standees.

September is Pirate month at NWA because the 19th is "Talk like a Pirate Day".

Great terrain from Fiendish Fabrications.

Coastal town.

That's a big table.

Make that two.

Mysterious island.

A colonial villa.

A famous visitor.

Shall we cross blades?

Filthy Navy types.

Arrgh!

Keep your eyes on her sword lads!
