Been wanting to do some Eastern European stuff for awhile now. Was getting ready to buy the WH "Vlad the Implaer" book for $5, when Warhammer Historicals died the next day.
The lists are still pretty usefull as John Bianchi did his research very well. Also, I think that in general the lists are very balanced considering the huge variation in armies and the manner in which they fought.
The lists would be more or less fine for WAB (obviously
), Hail Caesar, War and Conquest as well as Clash of Empires etc. With a little work i'm sure you could make them work for most rule sets.
