Love the building! I checked out the inspiration page, and while it's a great piece for Infinity, yours fits the Gritty sci fi look much better. The interiors are looking great as well.

I can't claim to be the original on this one, I was browsing through blogs and found this:

http://www.warbard.ca/2015/03/12/a-building-for-infinity/

I decided to dumb it down a little to be a little more generic sci fi. And make it a tad bigger.

Hey, I thought your building looked familiar!

I really should do a LAF thread for my Infinity stuff, I've been messing with Infinity terrain most of this year and haven't yet put anything up here on LAF.

Glad to provide inspiration, I'd missed your thread until now but you've got some good stuff going on.

Thanks wirelizard. Every now and then I come across something that sparks me into action - your buildings on your blog did just that. I might have a go at another industrial building as well.

Also, as people have been asking after Slave 1, I have pushed myself into action on that as well.

And the WIP of the planned captain:

So I may be moving towards being able to put together a bit of a space port if needed . . . . .

This one is a very odd one in that it is way out of scale of what it represents from the movies. So far as I can tell it is also out of proportion. However, it will make a nice twin seat craft of one form or other. It will take some careful cutting inside to be able to add two side by side seats. By I like the design.

The rebel troop transporter is going to become a freighter, I'm not bothered by the missing covers. Those will be explained by force shields.

should be able to get some plasticard over the gaps mate. I've a handful of these in various states, one is already lined up to be converted (along with a half started Falcon conversion and about 6-7 at-st's from the old toy line)

In an attempt to try and bottle up some of the influence and positive mental attitude that Akky has been drumming into me with recently what with all of his projects - I have taken it upon myself to actually try and finish one for once.

Beginning to look like one of my projects....four years and you still haven't finished it.

 ;)

Great thread - really good ideas on scratch-building terrain too.

Please keep up the great work!

That one is pretty perfect for this. It's so far removed from what it should be that you don't even recognize it anymore. So then it just becomes a small spacecraft in 28mm scale. Perfect.  :D
