So after moving house quite out of the blue (while being recently unemployed) I finaly found some time to build some scenery... I had the idea for this piece slowly simmering in my feverish brain for quite some time now and am quite pleased how it turned out...

As always not painted beyond a basecoat...

The base is the size of a cd, made of a large cork coaster, scary tree is from the GW giant spider set and under the tree there is a sacrificial pit with some mantic zombies as corpses...

After painting the pit will be filled with blood (vallejo water effect with tamiya clear red and some black ink).

Be mindful of the prayers you send
Pray hard but pray with care
For the tears that you are crying now
Are just your answered prayers

Cool. A variant dressed up like the tree from Sleepy Hollows, with rotting heads between it's roots, would also look cool!

GREAT IDEA, Mo!! It's really looking disturbingly good...FINE WORK!

I have a few Reaper Zombies clawing their way out of their graves AND I now have an idea of something to do with them. Thanks for the inspiration.

VERY WELL DONE! That certainly is a SPOOKY looking, evocative piece. I love the Zombies luxuriating in the bloody looking puddle...rather spa like.
AND CONGRATULATIONS on completing a project; I'd say the euphoria should carry you through another project...keep up the FINE WORK!
