Well, we have a number of alien looking aliens in our Cobalt-1 range, including Wolfmen....

Ah, those are excellent!  I can see a few of them joining my ranks after next payday...  :D

Spot on Hildred! The prospect of having to model fur capes and cloaks to loads of half naked barbarian figures fills me with dread...

I agree completely with the Traveller and generic SF stuff in 28mm.

However, on the day I wake up with the ability to sculpt, I'll do 54mm post apoc and SF. These wouldn't neccessarily be for gaming, more for something to put in the display cabinet.

There are hundreds of historical 54mm figures out there, quite a lot of fantasy, but precious few post apoc and SF - feel free to correct me, please(*)  :D

As to figures, there would be a certain blonde vampire hunter, zombie hunters and various science fiction types. I'd also make the poses fairly static/heroic, as for some reason, sculptors seem to want to do very dynamic poses for SF, which puts me off. GW did this with their inquisitor range - I would have bought a heroically posed space marine, but the pose they used put me off completely.

Early night for me tonight, tomorrow may be the day that it happens  o_o

* I have a few from Andrea and Pizzaro. KnightModels do some post apoc, but they're 75mm and the Star Wars range is, well, Star Wars ;D

in fact.... i did it... i found a sculptor for my project...

the aliens have been made and i have them at home except for one... the sculptor is going on with my next batch... the XCOM members... after that??? the civilians and the Mega-police....

Three Kingdoms era Chinese in 28mm, with a sideline in characters in over-elaborate hats so that they could be used for Dynasty Warriors style fantasy as well as pure historical.

That, and some Tsar Wars era Nikolai Dante minis... (one day I'll get round to converting them, one day...)

Blackadder and Baldric heads, say 3 of each or so, bearded, unbearded etc so I can have them in EVERY army that I do. Some Flashman heads while we're at it. Ok manufacturers, my gift to you. Run with it!

You know I was thinking the other day that it's only a matter of time before the fellow at Rogue Miniatures makes a Blackadder set.

Well, him or whoever it was that made the Spanish Inquisition figures.
