Wonderful work!
 :-*
These guys are so full of character.
Great ability in the slapping on of paint department certainly helps too!
 ;)

Thanks! Now I need a naked dead guy to drag behind Achilles' chariot. Ideas? ::)

What about 'Bobby' the zombie from Tengu models?

The ripped off bits of skin could well be appropriate having been dragged behond a chariot.

Had to Google who played her but she gets my vote.  lol

Me too! Have you seen the Director's Cut? Just got it on blu-ray., Helen gets the girls out, really adds to the enjoyment of the film! ;)
Cheers,

Update! Scrapped the SAGA idea, and will instead be playing the skirmish rules "Before the Gates of Troy", a nice little paperback set of old school rules for heroes, chariots, and small warbands. All this and Divine Intervention too! ::)

Chariot from BTD:

Thersites, my first Greek, the ugliest BTD mini I had. He was going to be Hector, but it just didn't seem fair, even to the rotten Trojans! He will be a special marker for routed troops, to shame them to return to battle:

My first Foundry Javelinman, and a BTD mini to compare. I'm pleased, and the scale diff isn't enough to make me fear mixing them:

Hope you like them!

Great job on the skintones!  Did you pick up anything else in the recent BTD sale?

Nope. I've got over 100+ Foundry to paint, and there are a ton of Redoubt I'd like to get someday when I have $$ again... ::)

Like the latest additions very much and Thersites in particular. Think he took some unfair beating (quite literally), so it's great to see him included. :)

A long overdue update! With the impending arrival of the Temple of Apollo, I thought I'd best get my butt in gear and get a few more troops done!

Patroclus, companion of Achilles, from Bronze Age Miniatures, great dynamic sculpt, and a real bear to photograph!:

More troops, Foundry, BTD, Foundry:

Next up, converting a priestly staff for the Temple. Dug through the lead pile, and found some great candidates. Details to follow!

Good looking figures.
I think SAGA would work well with this period.
What battle boards are you planning to use?

Could be but if you want to introduce some surnatural elements or magic, it might be more difficult isn't it ? Or need a lot of work about this.

Where could one purchase "Before the Gates of Troy?"
Sounds like an interesting set of rules.
