Dungeon Adventures - an Otherworld Miniatures crowdfunding project
« on: September 27, 2012, 12:58:04 PM »
Seems like crowdfunding is the new way to have miniatures made and get them out the door. Not so sure I really like that direction - but have to admit that we have seen some rather exicting things lately.

Next project worth folllowing will probably be the Otherworld Miniatures Dungeon Adventures campaign.

Not up yet, but will probably go up this weekend - and Richard Scott already gave pre-view of what's coming :)

EDIT: Up and running now here: http://www.indiegogo.com/otherworldDA

A Dungeon Adventures set #1 (with Magic User, Cleric, Fighter and Theif) - all by Otherworld's human specialist Kev Adams:

Not bad, not bad at all  ;D

Love them a lot, quite perfect for any simple game in dungeons, like Swords and Wizardry!

But i've invested my funds in the KS from Reaper.... and i'm saying that too many times, lately! ;)

Those look great!

I see he's somehow managed to make the heads a normal size (the Wizard's head being a possible exception.) It's funny how some sculptors seem to make them too large and others (such as Tre) tend to err the other way. Guess that's why sculpting is an "art".

These look lovely. Any idea as to the size? I'm guessing they're more on the heroic side of 28mm...

Previous Otherworld Humans (by Kev Adams) have been 28-29mm to the eye. Guess these are scaled in a similar way.

@Blue - my pleasure :)
