Nice figures indeed but aren't they kind of expensive? :?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Depends on what you're used to paying for quality pewter 28mm figures, Calimero.  It is possible to get cheaper miniatures, the Foundry adventurers for example, but you do get what you pay for.  I know that when I buy an Otherworld figure, I will get a high-quality casting in a very nice, strong alloy.

I've bought from other manufacturers, and the difference does show.  I do understand the importance of price; I earn quite a low wage, and figure money is hard work for me to come by.  But as a result, I make sure that I can rely on the manufacturer I buy from.  I have a short list of people from whom I will buy with no qualms, and Otherworld is one of them.

More concept art has been posted of the last of the demi-humans. Also a WIP of the green for the druid from Kev.

Tick, Tock! ;)

It also depends on whether or not you can master and cast your own miniatures, if you cannot - that bumps your costs up tremendously.

So, come on guys! We have just reached $35,000 which means yet another stretch goals has beren reached.

So anybody, who puts $280 into this great project will earn the following:

- 12 human male adventurers
- 12 demi-human male adventurers
- 12 female human and demi-human adventurers
- 10 Hirelings & Henchmen
- 1 Mule
- Expedition Equipment
(all in four lovely boxes usable to transport miniatures - small feldherrn boxes with a great cover)
- 3 Bonus Henchmen
- Weapons & Equipment Pack
- Treasure Item Pack
- Adventurers' Stores Pack
- Adventurers' Campsite
- Adventurers' Cart and a Mule
- 2 War Dogs
- 6 Animal Familiars

This is great but I want more:

- At $40,000, again for Level 5+ a pack of Magic Users’ Familiars (special) – quasit, pseudo-dragon, brownie, imp, homonculus.
- At $45,000, for Level 4 and above, a Dwarf Mercenary Warrior, lightly armoured but heavily armed!  Designed and sculpted by the multi-talented Des Hanley.
- At $50,000, for Level 7 only, a pack of 4 Slain Adventurers - the gruesome remains of the Fighter, Cleric, Magic User and Thief from DAB1.

To achieve this, more people must come on board. Let's make it happen! Only five days are remaining!

I as drooling over this when someone pointed out that all my other/older fantasy stuff is size incompatible since 99% of it came back in the 1970's and 1980's.

Still if I ever get into  a FRPG again after retirement I will keep these figures in mind.  Very nice even if only a few of the drawings are attractive to me because those that do appeal - appeal in a big way.

Gracias,

Glenn

Nice stuff on here!  I am not sure I am in though, as I would only really want level 7, and quite frankly, I have spent enough this month  ::)

I know I wouldn't use them all anyway, so I might just buy some individually later on...

I went in at lvl 4, too.  I chose the first boxed set for the simple reason that I don't think I could bear to wait any longer than that!
