In my opinion the very best set of rules for WW2 in 15mm is Battlefront WWII by the Fire and Fury Team.  If you want to play large formations of armour then these are perfect - with several sqaudrons of armour being firlded for the average game and upwords of a battalion in some games.

I think battlefront also has a large amount of weird war rules already added somewhere so you don't need to make your own.

Never seen any "Weird War" rules for Battlefront - but the system would easily lend itself to "weird war" if that is wat was wanted.  The website has WW1 and modern adaptions and a sci-fi adaption would be a doddle.

I'd recommend NUTS! War Without End (spoiler alert -- I'm the author), which is a great skirmish level "DIY" style weird war system, good for squad level up to platoon level actions.

Here's the rules in action:

There also vehicle construction and figure conversion rules at the Two Hour Wargames Yahoo! Group. Oh, here are some  Here are the best 15mm WWW2 sources I know about:

1. DP9 offers a complete range of Weird War mecha and special troops (Zeds,
rocketeers, helo-troops, etc.) from its "Gear Krieg" line of minis in 15mm:

2. Rebel Minis provides superheroes, cultists and some critters in 15mm, as well
as some sci-fi mecha and such:

3. Khurasan also offers pulp, horror and such in 15mm as well:

Whatever system you choose, welcome to the world of weird war gaming madness!!
Best,

Just thinking, you could always add the 'Black Prince' (a churchill with a 17pounder, really) to your list of tanks. The Centurion would have replaced this, but it gives some variation in your forces.
