Spacehulk Librarian
« on: September 27, 2012, 05:19:18 PM »
I painted up the Spacehulk Librarian. I actually use him in my Space Marine army. The armour is drybrushed and then given a coat of blue wash. C&C more then welcome.

Regards,
Za

Lovely, good work on the drybrushing, clean and exact.

Rather nice! As a suggestion, you may want to darken the knee joint as you did with the arms - adds a little definition to the leg when viewed from the back.

Do you use the figure for a Blood Angel army, or a homebrewed one? I just re-read the 2nd edition starter box scenarios and am somewhat itching to assemble a platoon of Blood Angels in that retro style for 2ed games, using modern figures...

Thanks for the advice. You are totally right, I just darkened the knee joint  :D
My Space Marine army is of no particular chapter, I just went for the miniatures and colour I liked.

I'm usually don't like drybrushing method on figures since it usually is messy, but you have pulled it off nicely. Actually the effect is rather nice. Some darker shading to the deepest crevasses would be good and also I would paint the crux on the left shoulder.

thumbs up
