Into the Heart of Darkness - T&T in the Congo
« on: March 08, 2008, 05:53:04 AM »
Our group played our second game of T&T back in January - just now finding time to post...

The game involved sending an expedition up the Congo to find a certain Mr. Kurtz - who had been operating beyond the bounds of company policy.  Led by Marlowe, the expedition was given the task of bringing Kurtz back in line with Company mandates or if that was not possible - to terminate his employment.

The mission was going well for Marlowe and his team - as there was little resistance in the wider parts of the river.  Things took a turn for the worse however, when the party was forced to leave their boats and journey on foot into the jungle.  At this point they were overwhelmed by natives who seemed to come at them from every direction.  Kurtz was never found, though one of the few survivors to make it back swears he saw a man in a white suit, far back in the jungle, directing the battle.

The company is presently gathering forces for a second mission...

Don't get off the boat!

Cheers,
Rich

This is what we want! Great table set-up. Do please post the follow-up mission, as and when it happens.
