thanks for the feedback the Contra "infantry wore Fezs as mine do.......the

Figure of Dupin has a splendid sombero though.....grey heavily etched

in gold. i may well due some with Somberos amd an srtillery section

Good point on the infantry, I always think of the Contras as cavalry units with the silver trimmed grey/black sombrero. Although they were more like Dragoons really.

thats the main print i used the Zouave figureas on the right are the

infantry.....sometimes mounted on mules.the officers favoured both

somberos and Fezs..........they look the business with the wicked bayonet

attachment,,,,Dupin always wore a large grey sombero sometimes with

a black pelisse picked out in heavy gold!

I look forward to seeing the Dupin figure and I shall hold out hope for the cav version (dismounted is fine) in the braided jackets and sombreros

Any plans for additional French infantry in more standard advancing/attacking poses, Ged ? The ones you released are fine and will work for skirmish games using individually based figures, but they don't rank up well and thus won't really work for folks like me who tend to do divisional/brigade level games and use battalions as basic tactical units.
