Tudur coat of arms for Rhys ap Tudur and Gwilym ap Tudur:

Hanmer coat of arms, Margret Hanmer was Owain's wife and his brothers-in-law, Gruffudd, Philip and John Hanmer supported him:

Hywel Coetmor ap Gruffudd Fychan, has the following arms ascribed to him by early writers, Azure, a chevron sable between 3 spear-heads argent. His brother Rhys Gethin may have had a similar coat of arms. It would look something like this but the spearheads are probably the wrong shape.

Did clerics still fight at this time? If so Gruffudd Young and John Trevor may have had the banner of Dewi Sant with them:

Interesting stuff and a project that sounds well worth pursuing.

The Battle of Bryn Glas or Pilleth, if you prefer, would make a great wargame with the Welsh archers switching sides and the hidden Welsh troops on the English right flank.

Keep us informed!
