Needs a new hat
« on: October 19, 2012, 01:41:18 AM »

Brigade Games makes him, he is about 32mm and I need to change his hat to be able to use him.
any ideas
that's the biggest picture I could get
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Oh man, I wish I could get just that gun as a standalone weapon  :-*

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Any specific style change?  Cowboy?  Shako?  Sombrero?  Space Helmet?  Or is this project theme neutral?

Gracias,

Glenn

Put a turban around the lower half or add horns or snip off the upper half and use putty to make crumpled tops.  That's all I got.  ???

From a fez, adding elements takes you in so many directions:

Bill, cockade, etc = shako
Wide brim (turned up on one side?) = Stetson or Aussie bush hat

File it down far enough and you could sculpt just about anything, including a Montero cap, kepi (a Kepi Blanc for your "Waddle or Die" FFL Gnomes?)

with clippers cut off the top of the hat, then file to round what is left, then take green stuff, make 3 flat triangles , attach one to the front, the others to the side, smooth & curl the sides of them up and you've got a tricorn hat.
