I've just made up a couple of new bases as well. One 60mm one that has a pentagram melted into the tiles. Ad another 25mm one.
Thanks for the kind words.

Alright spill the beans, how do you make those cool bases. I sculpted a couple and used Tamyia putty, what do you use? I ask cause I really the what you are doing and I might.... borrow... some of your ideas (yeah.. borrow  ::)).

I use laser cut mdf (you could just use a regular base though) and sculpt the top in greenstuff. I give its sand after its dried to get it more level looking.

For the drain I used brass rod for the grate. Glad I could help :)
My next purchase I think is going to be from otherworld. I really want that vrock and the liche with the staff. I'll bump the order up with some of those armoured skeletons as well. That will be a while away though.

Thanks for all the tips, I hope to whip something up soon. I really like Otherworld miniatures, I don't have any but they all look great. Don't forget to post some pics when you get them, even if they are WIP.

Cheers,

Groupshot
I rebased the last mini (demon lord apparently) with a fire base I made.
Also in he are some tin minis ten legged doggie things. I'll make them some sort of goblin dog, and a giant scorpion. Oops forgot to put in the spider. I quite like how the demon lords base painted up.

Thanks all. That demon is my second go at painting fire so I learned well from my mistakes. Now I need to wait for cash flow to improve to get some otherworld monsters.

Love that fire effect! Just saw something on ebay that would fit right in to your demented family of Dungeon beasties:

Tanks for both the links. That eBay monster is quite cool, almost like an old pink horror, or perhaps a blue one.
I'm not really after any of those otherworld minis, except maybe the troll, I'll keep my eye out othe sales thread though. I already have two things lined up that I'm waiting for next payday.  :)

Next update.
Just got these recently here on LAF.
Begging to be painted in red.
I made and cast some bases especially for these guys.

The bases seem to be redder on this pic, there is more orange to them, maybe it's just the lighting at night here  ???
Fn minis to paint. I want more rackham demonic looking stuff!!!

The Rackham Nasties look TERRIFIC in red...it took me a moment to recognize them in their flashier coloration. The bases go well with them. GREAT WORK!
