Amazing, absolutely amazing painting, I can not imagine the amount of time it took to paint all those blue diamonds on the knights tunic! I love your painting style, very inspirational (meaning I aspire to one day paint as well as you).

Cheers,
 Damien

I finished off the second axeman and I've started another from this little unit.

If I can keep on track with things I'll do the remaining two retainers I have with doublehanded weapons.

It seems there are another 4 such models which I'd like to get hold of. There are links on my blog and details of what I'm after.

Nice work, SCL.
I love your work with muted colours.
Just sublime.
 :-*

Good luck on the search for the other four fellas.
Have you considered putting an advert in the 'Wanted' section of the Bazaar?
I am sure that someone could help.

This is making me sweat with anxiety.  Lookit the shading on that gambeson!  Not just brilliantly blended highlighting but brilliantly placed too.

The axeman's not bad either. ;)  Likin' that green, a lot.

I hadn't noticed the shading at all, my eyes just told me it was correct! Lovely bretonnians :-*  :-*

Not only are those bretonnians fantastic but those Sinbad minis are out of this world good.

Hi, just stumbled over this thread. Those are gorgeous figures, the paint job absolutely brilliant.

Keep on, I will try to follow the progress.

I am delighted to see you are getting carried away with The Project. These are some of the FINEST Flowers of Chivalry I have seen. The Big Three of brushwork, basing, & color choices are TERRIFIC! FANTASTICALLY WELL DONE!

With all my 'on the fly' pics I think it's time we had a 'proper' photo of some finished models so here's the most recently finished retainer along with the other two from his rather meagre unit.

I also put together a little tutorial on my basing. It's nothing out of the ordinary but a fellow blogger asked and I thought it was time to do something. It's on my website HERE.

Beautiful! :-* So much detail - even stubble!

I like the flowers you used on the base - where are they from?

Thanks PP.  :)

The flowers and tufts are all Silflor/Mininatur.

And Damien, I've got plenty of these models waiting to be done.  :D
