Nice job. I'll use your photos as inspiration if I ever get mine from Maelstrom! I ordered a platoon.

Thanks. I used Vallejo German field grey for the pants. It matched the Osprey better than the sky blue pants that Warlord painted theirs in.
The base of the smock is field grey mixed with green grey then tan and brown splotches.

It's very effective. I may have to borrow your technique if that's ok?

Yes of course!
I have no patent on putting paint on model soldiers.
And if it were a trade secret I wouldn't put it up on a forum.
