Song of Drums & Shakos AAR - Napoleonic Skirmish
« on: October 25, 2012, 12:38:37 PM »
Hi there,

We are a gaming group based in Stockholm, Sweden.

I recently added a write up - with quite alot of pictures - of our latest game of Song of Drums & Shakos to our blogg.

It was a close fought game with a French foraging patrol running into some Prussians.

You have the AAR in its entirety here http://northern-wargaming.blogspot.se/2012/10/aar-famined-french-napoleonic-skirmish.html.

And below are some pictures to wet you apetite.

I hope you'll enjoy it!

Nice looking figures and a good write up. I only have the Song of Blades and Heroes book, but I imagine SDS is very similar. It does seem like a very nice system.

That was awesome! I want to play it so badly but can't afford the minis until Christmas.

Looks like tons of fun!
"One of My Men Became Restless" focuses on 15mm Horse & Musket periods and 25mm Horse & Musket, Fantasy, Horror and Victorian everything! Occasionally there'll be stuff of related interest but it's mostly a painters blog.  See it all here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/

Thanks alot! Much appreciated. It is a fun game and we thought we'd share it.

You should give it a go! It has a nice flow to it and is a good balance between fast play and tactical gaming. Also, you don't need that many models for your first games.

Don't have the budget for it at the moment. Here is to hoping for a box of Perry Plastic British for Christmas!

I picked up most of the other Ganesha book on Friday and have been reading through them this weekend. My friends and I will be trying out a few of them over the next month or so.
