Great looking aliens (and human troopers).  :o You usually do 15mm figures, but these are 28mm, right?

Exquisite sculpts! Very unique and creative. They look like they would scale perfectly with Infinity models.

I've also loved your stuff, so it's great to see you here too. I really like the work you're doing at the moment, is it for anyone in particular or just for your own amusement?

Predatorpt: Yes they are.

Dijit: I do them mostly for my own amusement but I wouldn't mind selling them if I got an offer. Sure thing they'll be cast so I can have a few squads for my games.

Why don't you try to do your own miniatures line? Maybe do a kickstarter/indiegogo campaign to launch it? I think I'm not the only one who would like to field a force of different alien races - a true Alien Legion ;)

They are good, very good, but... "something" about the body/suit strikes me as odd.  No oidea what yet, but will keep looking.  Might just be me on Corporate/Federal Monday Morning from below subpar.

Gracias,

Glenn

It's not you Conquistador. The limbs were pretty thin before I added armor plates so the anatomy is a bit wrong for a human (tho you might find someone actually built like this considering the variety of human bodies).
Since this project is mostly about aliens, I hope the model will look better with a thin humanoid face or helmet.

Well, if you were thinking about something else, let me know please.

That may well be it.   :)

You are right, I need to shift from human to humanoid alien in my evaluation of the figures.   ::)  In that sense these are fine.   :-*

Possibly the bulk of the upper body/armor in comparison with the arms is what seems askew too.  See second sentence again.

Keep up the good work.

I think it's a coin flip between putting these into production and having a unique force of figures that no one else has.  Alien  boutique!   lol   ;)   :)

Gracias,

Glenn

I generally like the quality of the sculpts and I do appreciate the intention to introduce more aliens in 28mm since the available ranges are a bit thin in that deparment.
I also understand that humanoid aliens are a bit more accepted due to the TV/Movie overkill for having to cast human actors  ;) and thus make rubber forehead aliens  ;)

Nevertheless, I am personally more kind of a "hardcore SF" fan, and would love to see more non-humanoid aliens but I undertand this is more difficult to achieve

The vaguely ameobic thing towards the left on that pic reminds me rather of the Dralasites from Star Frontiers - they were rather groovy non-humanoid aliens in my opinion, though attempts to make them as minis are a bit problematic - this one that I found on the web is not too bad, but when I tried to make them they looked like a pile of blu-tac with an ammo-belt.

Thank you all for your comments.

Honestly, I like that character but I'm not sure about it turned into a miniature. Also, I think he is still a humanoid in shape.  Perhaps with some texture or more like the one raising arms at the bottom of the drawing?
But I will make at least two non-humanoids. My "plan" for the squad being:
-two humans (male and female)
-two humanoids (two arms and two legs but not human proportions)
-two non-humanoids (hopefully weird or very weird)

Here are some non-humanoids I made in the past:
At 1:100

This one at 1:56 tho he could be used for any scale
http://15mmspaceopera.blogspot.fr/2011/12/slaefo.html

Let me know what you think please.
