My first 15mm sculpt
« on: October 30, 2012, 10:08:17 PM »
Hi! I have ever been fascinated by "a certain skirmish game" but have never tried it...The last weeks I got this "certain skirmish game"-flu again and I though I could finally give it a go...Since I have no so much money and no so much place I decided to sculpt the minis...but in 15mm  lol

That´s the result. I´m very happy about how it turned out since I didn´t know if I was capable to sculpt in such a scale  :)

Very well done. There should be a lot of toy vehicles available to convert to buggies and trukks.

The nice thing about Gorka Morka...you can just make vehicles out of whatever you want.

My buddies and I used to make our own Death Race(ish) cars out of Darda Cars (German wind up cars) covered in clay, putty, and home-fashioned weapons...

Hi Clearco!

That's a lovely figure, it would be a shame not to see it released. If you contact Gavin at 15mm.co.uk he will probably cast it for you for free and send you a few castings as part of the 'SHM' range.
Please, please check it out as I would love some of these.  :)

Wait, what about the women?!?!?

Sorry, just want you to know I've not forgotten about the Survivors thread...  ;)

Wouldn't the Dark Empire's lawyers get onto Gavin pretty pronto?
Isn't that what happened when another company previously produced Space Orks?
I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

Thanks people! I´m glad you liked it. I´m planning to make more as soon as I have time  :)
For the cars, I´m thinking on scratchbuilding my owns but maybe I´ll use converted matchbox or something like that...

Wait, what about the women?!?!?

Thanks! I´m working to make them cast, don´t worry ;) I don´t know yet when they are going to be available however. But with the figure here I just wanted to try something new  :)

Depends how you sell them. These would make fantastic Post-Apocalyptic Mutants for their USE ME Post-Apocalypse system...

One thing. If you would decide to cast / sell these, I would recommend doing it " under the desk" style. Otherwise the hyenas will start to harrash you for sure.

Wooo! If you are planning this 'certain skirmish game' in 15mm, you might need some betatesters of these models... ::)
