I think the sniper mini is really generic and of course you can use it as fine ranger for NCR, but for the warband i have in mind that not only power armour warriors are fighting but also some recruits in combat armour.

i wish Vinni would sculpt some more Fallout minis. Especially some more Brotherhood and
Enklave minis.

I need to go know, later i should find some time to post the pics.
Please help me with my Fallout rules, picture heavy!!

Don't see him as generic myself, he's based on the NCR artwork http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/NCR_ranger
Even down to the moustache, water backpack, ranger patches on shoulders and style of armour.
But agree that BV should release more!

There are some similarities, but this picture could also my current Fallout character in combat armour. I chose the same beard and hair color

What i want to say is, neither the gear or the beard are unique for the NCR. A berret would help for, but basically he can be used as NCR, mercenary or in this case Brotherhood scout/ sniper.

Dunno Serialmom, the gear looks spot on as Ranger patrol armour to me, Rangers don't wear berets, First Recon wear those

Anyway, will you be doing an NCR ranger in your force?

With the berret you are right i mixed them up with the typical mounty hats.

The second picture you show might be the used as model for the sculpt.

You are right with what you are writing, but what i want to explain and maybe i lack the english skills is, that a guy in combat armour with sniper rifles and glasses and this typical beard (in German called as "Pornobalken") could also be a mercenary, my Fallout character or a Brotherhood scout. I will search for pictures of the BoS base in Fallout 3 where you see lots of trainees in combat armour. And i think this sculpt fits also well for this use.

But i have no problem that you use him as ranger, because this fits very well.

Ok, now i come back posting my version of  NCR squad:

As the BoS mini before they are also an comissioned work.

I hope some of you like them like i do

They're really well painted, better than I could manage, but to me they just don't look NCR. The style of helmet and the armour is much more like Combat Armour as worn by Reilly's Rangers or Talon Company

The Brotherhood recruits in Fallout 3 wear recon armour, it's the undersuit of the T45d power armour, they don't wear combat armour

It looks to me that you are really are a perfectionist :).

The helmet form is not perfect, but for me the color scheme and also the weapon choice ( mainly guns from the gun runner arsenal) is sufficient that they are a fine NCR squad. I am sure if BV would make them they would be even better but for now i am really happy.

I have a surprise left i hope i find some time soon to post it.

They do in Fallout and Fallout2 and so forth, that is enough for me, the so called recon armor is as you say an undersuit to the powered armor. Off course in the early fallout games there was not much differentiation except in broad strokes. For myself I mix and match looks between all the incarnations of Fallout depending on what is at hand miniwise or what I think looks good for me.:)

A small surprise.

Some kind of wip though

It is a behemoth.

A friend of mine built him as Warhammer giant and finished the paint job for 80%.

He did not like him anymore and so i got him years ago.

I nearly finished the paintjob.

Hope you like it, although the hide is missing the green colors i really like the brutal look of this model.

That Behemoth is beautiful c:
Makes me want to get on with mine...

And my Deathclaw. I'd love to finish it, and see other people paint it. D:
If you'd like an apocalyptic monster in 28mm, throw me a PM and I'll think it over.

Yeah i am atill alive.

Just a short info.

I have around 20 raiders painted, which are waiting to be photographed.

I personally painted, 11 object markers, 5 ants (3 worker, 2 soldier ants), 5 robots ( 3 protectrons and 2 eyebots) and painted 6 more minis for my Brotherhoodof Steel warband.

I did quite a lot of tweaking of my rules ( complete new advancement process, in which you can choose every skill or stat upgrade for each of yourheroes and henchmen)), integrated rules to buy or build robots to use them as warband members, and updated the warband rules for 6 different warbands. I also did some playtesting ( ~10 games or more) and i am currently very happy how well it wored.. I hope to find some time tomorrow to post some pics.

Of course i am happy if you motivate me additionally.

I will post severap smaller updates, in which i also descirbe some things about the rules.

Although i am not posting my rules today i will give you some headsup.

I radically changed the levelup process. In Mordheim you have to roll every levelup, so that in the end a magican can get 3 A and S6 but do no get the possibility to leran new spells.

I want to change this for Fallout because in Fallout you can choose everytime wahat you want to level up so i also want to do it so.

Now it is crucial to level the strenths of the skills: Everything will be a skill (for example Gun1 gives you +1 BS for shooting gun weapons)

I also integrated Barter, Science, Medicine and Repair as skills.

To strenthen their use you can build robots if you have enough level of science and repair in your warband.

For example: Repair one and Science 1 gives you the ooportunity to build an eye bot, protectron or Mr. Handy. Of course you can also buy the robots from a merchant but you build them at price for yourself and can add any upgrades without searching for them (better armour, better targeting system etc.)

some protectrons

eyebot:
