bikers in leathers
« on: November 04, 2012, 08:59:40 PM »
anyone know of any 28mm bikers in modern leathers? not the hells angels type that seems popular, but more of the TT superbike type... but not on a bike oddly...

What about the Spinespur Thugs - only one pose though :(

You only get one in a pack, but Im sure Bob at Comfy would do you a solid if you asked.

ooooo, that is very promising... bloody website only shows 2 figures in a scene, rather than the contents of a 4 figure pack

Yea I know LoL!

You get one Biker, a Tramp in a Gas Mask, A guy in a jacket and trousers, and an Army/Police uniformed Guy (I've seen him painted as either) and a bunch of Weapons and Masked Heads and a Crash Helmet.

Thin on the ground Chris to be honest, I used for Kat ages ago but really heavily converted version a la the bride 'B' from Kill Bill:

Swop Heads for helmets and lose the whip, might be of use?

As for male minis thin on the ground, like that comfy games deathracer type. Also wasn't someone doing bike  helmets as a conversion pack? I'll have a dig around.

You've got Studio Miniatures Mel as well perhaps with a head swap.

Denizen sells helmeted heads from its 1/43 racing car driver range separately, if that's any use.

Sculpt one helmet Chris and cast it up. If you weren't so adverse to GW, i was thinking Cadian torso armour would be a good start for updated judges. Also I used a reaper chronoscope 'not' gears of war trooper for a proxy holocaust judge. Pig iron helmet worked well, (painted for me by Dr Falkenhayn).

Give it a darker pj and it might work for you?

I have the helmets sorted, I just need some bodies as a base - was starting to think about body armour types

Lose the press moulded badge and chain and the mini should suit.

How about those red redan riot minis from that US comany victory force?
