Om Krīm Kālyai Namaḥ
Om Kapālinaye Namah
Om Hrim Shrim Krim Parameshvari Kalike Svaha

Everyone's second-favourite Hindu deity (after the adorable and cheeky, peanut-guzzling Ganesh, of course). That thread asking about such things reminded me I had it, and that I had never posted a pic of it, so here it is. Originally planned it to be the backdrop for an LPL entry, before I came to the conclusion that I'm not really cut out for the LPL. A brass statue I got from a religious supplier via eBay. Sprayed it black and then got busy with the highlights, some grimy washes, and then grass and creepers. Perhaps went a bit mad with that last bit, as you can hardly see poor old hen-pecked Shiva under all that. Really easy and fun job, all done in one evening, just about.

Purely to give an idea of the size, a rather confused (and by the way he is waving his sword, angry) Baluchi wondering why he has been asked to pose in front of this piece of heathen idolaltry.

I imagine he is fixin' to hack its' face of, the way radical Muslims have been known to do.

Lovely job, Plynkes. Same goes for the rock formations in the back ground.
What is this nonsense I hear: " I'm not really cut out for the LPL."?!

If each round was a year instead of a week I might just about manage it.  :)

As for the rocks, can't take credit for them. That's how they come out of the box: Terrarium decorations.

That looks fan-bloody-tastic!
 :o

Not sure I agree with the vines, they look just fine to me.
Bloody fine.
A great end result!

Real grand scene, Plynkes! The rocks in the back are also quite nice and useful, the reason why I've bought them for myself some time ago. And I can absolutely relive your feelings about the LPL, it's just too fast for me nowadays ...

As ever, simply superb.
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo
