Nice job, but...
- they seem to be well equipied... unfortunatelly they weren't;
- I have never heard that Poles from Armia Krajowa seized Tiger;
- An Eagle on hetzer doesn't have a crown

Cheers,

Cheers,

1.) They are far too well equipped, and I am aware of this. This is because of a combination of the Rules that I am using for them, and due to the limited selection of models that I got together for this project.
2.) One Tiger tank was captured and put to use in Ochota district during the Warsaw uprising.
3.) No. No it does not. I will add one at some point.

2.) One Tiger tank was captured and put to use in Ochota district during the Warsaw uprising.
Actually, no one knows for sure if it was a Tiger - the Poles might identify every German tank as a Tiger (you can't blame them, most of them didn't have the knowledge we have), and then some historians heard it and took it for granted. (It's similar with Soviets, who called every tank they destroyed a Tiger, and every SPG a Ferdinand.)
Others suggest it was a Panzer IV.
Whichever tank it was, one guard decided to try to drive it and accidentally immobilized it.  lol

Apart from the incident with the unknown tank in Ochota, I never heard of any Panzer IV captured by the Home Army (unless that happened outside the Warsaw Uprising). The only captured and identified vehicles are 2 Panthers, 2 Hanomags and 1 Hetzer (plus a bank/post armored car).

Nevertheless, I think it's all right to give the Home Army some stuff they didn't actually have. Unless you're playing some scenario-oriented skirmish, I don't think the Home Army with its real equipment would stand a chance against other forces.

Very nice looking force!
FOW wise Pak 40s should be on big bases though ;)

I really like the painting on your models. Well done.
Some of them don't fit historically (Russian partisan models, panzershreks etc.) but then FOW is a fantasy game based in WWII after all, so no need to go mental on historical detail I suppose :)

My AK force is still in making and long way to go, but it will get there one day :)

Great painting and basing!

I know the Poles captured a Hetzer and a Panther tank for certain, the Tiger and PzIV captures are a bit sketchy. But this site has a tiny bit of info about the captured tanks during the Uprising http://www.achtungpanzer.com/polish-armor-1939-vehicles-of-the-warsaw-uprising.htm

The term "Cursed soldiers" was applied after the end of the war when the communist authorities in Soviet occupied Poland chased down former AK soldiers that were made pariah in the post war Polish society. A great number would continue to fight partisan warfare against the Soviet occupation forces for several years after the end of WW2.

Hmmm, in fact you could also have some R35 tanks, four or five of them were captured during Wilno Uprising (nowadays capital of Lithuania)... outdated tanks for poorly equipied soldiers... :/

Wilno was quite far away from Warsaw :)

So what?
Lwów (Lvov) is also far away from Warsaw - and there was also uprising in that city. And in both cities Germans were defeated. (what happened next to Poles is another story...)

My point was that the FOW list is for Warsaw Uprising only and Wilno and Lvov lists would be quite different. Although interesting idea to make lists for that as well.
