M.O.O.S.(E)- Divisional Records UD 18/03
« on: November 16, 2012, 10:41:50 AM »
M.O.O.S.(E). is the Ministry of Occult Studies (England), and is the British equivalent of Threshold.

M.O.O.S.(E). is divided into regional Divisions, with more being founded as and when needed.
They are spread across England, with a Regional Headquarters based in a major town or city in the district, where the team can train, follow leads, perform research and also rest between missions.

This is where the Divisional records will be kept, so that team leaders (and others) can keep an eye on what is happening in the Realm.
This original post will be edited and updated on a regular basis.

There are also two M.O.O.S.(E). teams operating outside of England at the moment.
These are the Ministry of Occult Studies (Scotland), or M.O.S.(S) for short, and the Northern Irish Ministry of Occult, or N.I.M.O.
Both of these come under the operational control of M.O.O.S.(E). for all purposes, including funding, recruitment and the sharing of information.
There may well be other teams that will be created in future that will operate under the umbrella of M.O.O.S.(E).
One such team that already exists is M.O.O.S.(A.D), the African Division, which protects British interests on the Dark Continent.
There are no Divisional records for them as yet.

The regional teams in operation at the moment (and the players controlling them) are as follows:

The Thames Valley Division is based in Oxford (Legionnaire Bert).

One of the more active Division's, the team is led by Aubrey Werther-Minte and has seen plenty of action and, probably, has the highest attrition rate of all the teams. An uncompromising team leader, Aubrey only has one of his original team members left working with him, the slightly unhinged Issac Kite.
Aubrey himself has many wounds to show for his efforts made in the name of His Majesty. He has a Leg Wound, Arm Wound and is Horribly Disfigured and is now Hideous!
This Division has a record of 5 Wins and 5 Losses.

The South Coast Division is based in Portsmouth (Gavla).
A team that saw plenty of action earlier on in the year, with much success, but it has been a quiet district of late. Maybe they have been too successful!
They should be back in action soon.
They have a record of 4 Wins and 0 Losses.

The South Western Division is based in Exeter. (Bullock).

A newly formed team, charged with the moral protection of Devon and its surrounds.
They have been impressive so far, and are the first team to sucessfully complete a Specimen Collection, returning to headquarters with a sedated Zombie for examination Their leader has been earning some renown for his sword skills.
They have a record of 4 Win and 0 Losses

The Northern Division is based in York (Tom the Bastard).

This team have had a quiet time of late, but had a particularly busy autumn, with Cult activities being prevalent in their district during this time. They are currently 'missing in action' on the Moors.
They have a record of 4 Wins and 3 Losses.

The South Eastern Division is based in Canterbury (Kitsune).
This Division has been very quiet of late, having formed and seen action, they have not been in the field since.
Maybe they are deep in investigation undercover?
Rumour has it that they will be active soon.
They have a record of 1 Win and 0 Losses

The Ministry of Occult Studies (Scotland) is based in Dundee (smokezombie)
One of the most active teams of late. They went into action with a bang, but then suffered seriously in their second encounter, with every team member, bar their leader who was seriously wounded, Killed In Action.
Now they are one of the largest and most heavily equipped teams in the Ministry.
Their record reads 3 Wins and 4 Losses

The Northern Irish Ministry of Occult is based in Belfast (The Lockswin)

One of the most successful teams on active service, and building a serious reputation for themselves, they are led by Captain Murphy with his Lucky Hat.
Having completed the Doomsday Device scenario, Murphy can expect promotion after a few more wins.
Their record is 7 Wins and 1 Loss.

The Metropilitan Division is based in London (Mason).
Having only recently seen action, they are undefeated so far, and wield a lot of firepower when they go to 'work'.
The M.I.B. (Men in Bowlers) have a record of 3 Wins and 0 Losses.

The Ministry of Occullt Studies (England) is growing rapidly as the threat to the nation has been revealed.
They cannot expect any respite as the insidious threat of the Cult of the Purple-Headed Worm grows and the Mad Asylum start to spread their influence further afield.

Who knows what other threats to the security of the Realm will be unveiled?

Lol. Too true.

This reminds me that I need to crack open the tartan paint and finish the boys.
"The sword sung on the barren heath,
The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Is there an AAR for the doomsday device scenario? That's a tough one- I'd like to see how someone prevailed.

Updated with the results of the newly-formed London Division.

And yes, that is my own team.
I do get to be the good guys occasionally.

Bullock managed to garner the first sucessful Specimen Collection for M.O.O.S.(E). earlier this evening.

Lord Bullockus of Asparagus led his team in a seriously close-fought and tough mission against the minions of Dr Jarse and managed to recover a live zombie for examination.

The records have been amended to reflect this and an AAR will follow in the next couple of days.

Afraid not, mate.
He encountered a Maniac in that scenario and received quite a pasting from her!
