British Light Dragoons in Tarleton - other uses?

I ended up with probably one regiment too many of figures to make British light dragoons in tarletons from the Napoleonic peninsular campaign.

Do I have options to make them into anything else?

With a bit of work they might be convertible into Portuguese Cavalry. I'm no expert but the Front Rank versions seem to have a tarleton with side plume and the short boots.

Paint them up as one of the volunteer yeomanry regiments? I don't think they ever boarded ship but you could slip them onto the table with French consent.

I ended up with a few too many Scots from the Victrix box, I did them up as battalion that served in Australia
