Quick question?
« on: March 23, 2008, 02:45:19 PM »
Hi All,

Just ordered a copy of these rules from Pardulon and have a quick question.  Are there rules/guidelines included for building forces?

Just getting back in to painting/gaming and would like put together a couple of small forces from mark Copplestone’s Back of Beyond Range.  Would this be easy to do with these rules?

Many thanks

Steve

Very easy ! done the same thing myself recently - about 15-30 figures per side , will handle larger forces though ! at least 5 figs per unit, about 3or4 units per side plus a hero of course !! . Great set of rules . :)

Certainly!

We´ve included a very basic framework which outlines points costs. However, once you get into the game, it shouldn´t be too difficult to dispense with the points approach and balance forces "from scratch".

Hi Red !

I hope we will have some army lists ready soon. There is a sample force on the website.

Its pretty easy to design a force. You can have small units like Moss said or slightly larger ones.

Two units with ten soldiers each
One support unit of 5 with a gun or a HMG
And some cavalry ( lets say 8 for a start ) if you like.

Cheers
Björn

Hi Björn,

I downloaded the sample list last night and it seems quite useful.  I get the impression that designing some basic lists should be quite straight forward.

Just need to get some information on the different troop types involved and how they where organized.
