Yes, this is really great stuff! I've just ordered a couple of the command sprues for my own nefarious purposes, but I've toyed with the idea of doing some small skirmishes after reading the Starbuck series. These more dynamic poses are excellent for that sort of thing!

Has anyone else noticed that they seem to be slightly taller than the zouaves?

Nothing confirmed yet, but there have been hints that the twins may do a union set in the future. No other details or tentative release dates, though.

Perrys used to have a long list of plastics that were being worked and this has whittled down (miffed that the Prussian Reserves seem to have vanished, though).  A pack of "Union" in frock coats, with a nice choice of hats and opional epaulettes, would be a good move.

I wouldn't say the Napoleonic Prussian reserves and Russian grenadiers have vanished forever : it seems more likely their release has been postponed to an unspecified date. The greens are done, so it's just a matter of squeezing them into the production process according to priority. AWI Continentals and militia are also rumoured to be in the pipeline along with the ACW federal infantry set, and Alan Perry has very indirectly hinted that there may be a plastic 1807-1812 FRench infantry set at some point in the future.

As it is, I wouldn't be surprised if Perry Mins released the WW2 Desert sets for Salute after but I'm not privy to any inside information so may well be wrong here.
