Do you know, I do remember seeing that film as a kid, can't remember much about it though. 

I've got loads to catch up on with sculpting as it is. Although I'd quite enjoy doing something like this, currently it would be a more likely prospect as a commission than a one off addition to our site

Dr Syn, the Scarecrow, the revenue men, smuggling in Romney Marshes. Its an excellent idea for a skirmish game.
 I remember planning this sometime ago and buying loads of figures. (They are all still unpainted )
A figure of the scarecrow would be a nice addition

Hammer Films produced a version starring Peter Cushing  
 
The film was called Captain Clegg, (the name changed due to Disney owning the rights, it still has the Romney Marshes etc.)

Foundry offers some smuggler figures that might work very well for this type of scenario. 

I purchased them thinking to run a "Moonraker" type scenario.  "Moonraker" was an old movie about ruffians on the east coast of the US (North Carolina or thereabouts) who would put up false latern (lighthouse beacon) signals to cause ships to mistake their positions and run aground, to be pillged as they broke up on the rocks.
