I've already been thinking about using my DF tiles as a 'bunker' for my games. I think Steve's system will work very well in a tighter environment.

year I've been to ying with this idea already. Minis are here now we need the tiles for specific locations for looting: house, warehouse, school, policr station, factory, tunnels, undeground.

I thought to have an above and below ground game.  So people can venture out of their bunkers, or be faced with a 'siege'/invasion of their bunker from a rival group.  I'm thinking more about areas of the US that had a decent concentration of Cold Wat era and Post 9/11 bunkers that gangs in the game could utilize.  This would not only help explain their existence, but also keep them fairly simple affairs.
Of course in reality, having a 'hidden' bunker would only be possible until someone came along with a metal detector....  But we can just phase those out in our game :D

The cold war ones are very deep and covered in concrete a metal detector might not be enough.  :D

I was surprised myself, but I was reading an article from the last few years talking about this, and evidently the ones that need to be shielded for an EMP have enough metal to light up to a non-commercial detector.  As long as the device worked in a PA environment!

Ah non-commerical as in military that I understand.

No, I meant non-commercial like a hobbyist grade, not something you may find in a professional setting.  It was a point I never considered, but it does make sense.  A locked hoe in the ground may not be the best hq one may think of, but I think for the setting and genre, especially in snow, works so wonderfully.

Hi. I'm afraid that my workshop is short of space due to property works, which means that I cannot mould or cast, for a few more months at least.  Restocking and stocking of minis old and new is therefore dependant on that.  The next iteration of the rules is, to some extent, waiting on finalisation of minis, etc.

 :)
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2024 = 32
(2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Am afraid so, it's running on bare minimum at the mo without replenishment until I can cast again.

I really hope the next part of the rules make it to published form.  I was just promoting the game on my FB PA group, and a couple of people seemed to feel the same way.  Hope you get it all going again Steve, this was one of the few projects that REALLY captured my imagination and stayed! :D
