15mm Sherman squadron
« on: November 26, 2012, 12:39:04 AM »
Finished my Canadian armour upgrades this weekend and brought them up to a full squadron of four 4 tank troops and a HQ of 3.

Mix of Old Glory, Battlefront and Plastic Soldier Company models. I'm really happy with the PSC models, they were straight forward to assemble and the detail is superb and crisp.

More details on painting and such on my blog over at: http://rabbitsinmybasement.blogspot.ca/2012/11/steel-hussars.html

Thanks

Nicely done! I am green with envy. I am working on a Canadian Armoured Squadron but I have only finished the three Squadron Command tanks and assembled the first two troops. They are not painted yet and I have been losing steam in getting them done. You have inspired me to press on! Tally-ho and Cheers!

Well I had two troops plus a couple of extras for a few years. Bringing them up to squadron strenght was the result of a friend during the summer observing that my Old Glory Fireflies were Ic's not the Vc's and Canadian armoured regiments never had the Ic.

My store owed me a couple of boxes of PSC so I got the Shermans and replaced my OG Sherman Ic's with the PSC models.

So I only painted up 11 tanks in this round. ;)

The Ic's have been converted into 'Grizzely' Kangaroos which will make their debute soonish.
