Cheap Pre-Painted Pulp Miniatures
« on: November 26, 2012, 06:34:32 PM »
They're better than Horrorclix and whatnot from a paint perspective, and they're more in line with the whole Pulp theme.

15$ for 11 minis, and they're scaled really right at 28mm. The tall guy with the Magnum is 30mm at the top of the head, for reference. They're resin, and a soft resin at that.

Good value, no doubt, but dont be surprised if the paint quality is the same as the various 'clix ranges.

Not these. I had them for the game and they're actually quite good. A bit of dip/quickshade and that's good for a table, really. These and the original Adventurers set are actually surprisingly well painted. I think it was "bring a parent to work day" in Indonesia or wherever the sweatshop was....

The mummy's and the chappy with the fez don't look too shabby.

Either way a repaint shouldn't be too much a chore if it was needed.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

I just got my figures that I ordered. They look decent enough, will need some touching up. They will fit in nicely to my growing collection.
