As a matter of interest, how do you decide who to pair against whom?

Would just like to say a big thanks to all the chaps who have participated in this league. It really made my morning when i logged on and saw all these fantastic entries.

I really must paint some things up for next time.

Jolly good show to all.

I just finished my voting for the first round! and must congratulate the League Painters for their wonderfull job! hope the other rounds will be as good as this one!

some notes regarding the first round:
 - I think I've voted on almost all the "free willy" submissions  :D
 - Damn you Hammershield for not letting me vote on the Portuguese :x , you did a truly magnificent work!  :)
 - For most of the submissions I had to use the overall background for a tie-break factor

Great Job! lovelly paintings and settings! looking forward to the next monday! :)
Cheers,
Pedro

Haha - Karl, that's GOOD! We need to see some better pics of your stuff. Now you will have to get a nice new one

And better still, you'll have to take three months off buying miniatures to pay for the camera, so you'll have plenty of time to catch up on all that painting and photographing.

Don't forget, you need something called white-balance, something called variable depth of field focus, and something else called timed shutter release. Apparently these three will enable you to take tip-top pics of your minis every time.
(No, I don't know what the first two do either, and I don't have them on my camera, but that's what the ace mini photographers swear by...   )
