An Unexpected Journey...are the Trolls per the LOTR movie or the RoTK movie?

I'm wondering how close the Trolls in the movie are going to be to the turned-to-stone versions we saw in the first movie. The GW trolls seem to be closer to the way they looked by the end of the trilogy. Or is my memory playing tricks on me and they are all the same beasties?
