« on: December 01, 2012, 03:48:11 PM »

Hey guys,

i got the new Hobbit box from GW this morning.

There are 13 dwarfs inside and on the 13th of december is the Hobbit cinema premiere (in Germany), so i'm starting my "a dwarf a day" project.

Dwalin makes the start:

An amazing piece of artwork there, HvM!

The best version of that figure that I have seen.
Certainly makes me re-think my opinion of the new Dwarves.

Fantastic job. So far I've only managed to clean up and stick 9 dwarves together. I look forward to seeing the rest if the Company.

While I'm not really all that enthused with the LotR minis generally speaking, Dwalin is an EXCELLENT mini made more so your FINE brushwork & basing. WONDERFUL WORK!

Thank you guys!

Amazoing blog too!

Who makes Ser Johan and Ritter?

They are conversions of WOTR Perry miniatures and vikings heads of Wargames Factory.

Superb! What are you using for reference material?

I'm using the released photographs and clips of the Hobbit movie so far.
