Ground Scale and Maps
« on: December 03, 2012, 03:40:46 PM »
Hi,

I have a 4'x6' and need to fit a 2 miles front for 28mm units. How do you
translate battle plans and maps to de tabletop? Do you warp them to fit your
games table or try to scale them down and work from there?

Cheers,

Nuno

Depends heavily on the period, ruleset preference, and time available to game.

If time and space are limited we usually scale things down and focus on part of the battle, often hanging up a hand drawn map of the larger battle on the wall that shows what portion of the battle is being focused on.
