Thank you all, I am intending to put 5 small buildings, a larger building and a watertower on the table. A nicely crowded table so there will be a lot of cover to hide behind.

I finished the second building, if I have the time I will post some pictures tonight.

Regards

And here is a picture of the two finished buildings together

And the painted up 2by2 MDF table. Some cheap brown texture paint an then dry brushed.

They look great!
Really nice weathering.
 :-*

Nice work with the wallpaper and thanks very much for the link.
That ruined wallpaper is particularly appreciated, as now I wont have to mess about doing my own.
It takes a fair bit of time when you have to do it yourself:

Much appreciated!
 :D

Hi all,

It was a busy week at work so I couldn't do as much as I wanted to. Yesterday I finished building #3 an #4 for just got a red base coat (it's the saloon). I also ordered some signs from a small company called Tricity laser. They look great on the screen now I just hope they also look great in real life  :D.

Building 3

And a slightly warped photo of the three finished buildings together.

And the wallpaper in building number 4 : The Saloon

I hope to find some spare time this weekend to finish the Saloon.

They look really good! :o You're gonna have to bring them over so we can have another game.

Don't worry Groove I'm gonna kick your Indians out of my town very soon  :D ;)

Regards,
Za

The  wallpaper looks great!  :-*

Any thoughts about adding some interior window features like frames, sills, sashes, etc? If you're going to play in the interiors, I think that might make a huge difference in terms of the overall realistic look.

My buddy runs the Tri-City Laser Old West stuff - it's pretty good, and the signs are quite good.  I have a baggie of them.  The only thing I don't love is that he uses wood instead of MDF, so paint is a bit of a pain.

Thanx, I'm still not sure if I will do more on the the interior. My first aim is to paint all the buildings. Next step is to paint the signs up.

The saloon is finished and I took some group pictures from the buildings already finished.

Hope you like them.

Za

Looks like a fantastic little town.  The water tower looks a treat.  I'm going to steal your idea to place slats on the roofs of my buildings.  I've been trying to figure out what I wanted to do with them.  Some dirt, debris and slats is probably just the ticket.

It has been really busy at work the last few days, so I struggled to make any progress. But I finally finished the fifth building. I also spend some money. There are some beautiful 4ground carts & wagons coming my way and a box full of Imex cacti. And I must admit that I ordered the BattleFlag gallows. Hopefully this all arives soon so I can make some progress during my holiday.

Building #5

Group shots

C&C as always very welcome

Looking good...what do you have planned for "detritus" as I like to call it?  (ie. barrels, boxes, fences, and "junk").  I just finished sanding/washing a bucket load of Ainsty stuff I picked up for cheap at a convention...to add to my heaping pile of random junk I use for my towns. :D
