Seems like you've settled on the 10 & 15mm stuff, but could be worth mentioning Irregular Miniatures' 25/28mm Bug Hunt range & their Space Lice in their science fiction range:

http://www.irregularminiatures.co.uk/indexes/25mmindex.htm

Nothing Gigeresque about these bugs. Matakishi has used the Lice in his projects & there's a pic on the website.
Waiter, my soup is giggling.

Nice find for western/old west figures, I didn't know this brand. The figures are in my price range too.  I will investigate this ! thanks !

COncerning scifi bugs, they have weapons, and are a bit more pricey (1.20pound I believe, wich is about 1.50euros)

Search the forum for "Walnusians" for even cheaper alternatives.

The Lice do, but there are some bugs in the Bug Hunt range that don't.

Star Wars prepaints from WotC can be quite cheap.

Geonosians are one type that sell for under $1, and look like they might come from eggs.

same thing than heroclix: not so easy to find around 40figures, and impossible at this price range  lol

I'm afraid I didn't find any really good option for now, except defiance bugs wich are really good proxies for my game. I'll probably order a couple of boxes on early 2013.

They come at 9$ per 5 figures, so translated thats aprox. 1'40€ per mini.

Concerning cheap bugs (halloween stuff, etc...) I didn't found anything interesting  :(
...

None of these seem possible to you? As stated, a bit of work, but can't hate the cost.

We have other bugs besides the space demons.  For instance we have our parasachnids, which come in multiple species, including winged varieties and a huge tanker bug ogre beetle.  They are even available in a bugswarm, all these models for $28.99:

Sometimes these horrors even attack poor defenseless medieval people!

Hey sundayhero, did you know that we even make two different bug holes for our bugs?   It's true!  lol

Pretty certain NO ONE handles his range, anywhere.

Strictly direct, far as I know.
