Night of the Wolf--Recruits Gloire table WIP photos

Here are some photos of the setup for the upcoming Recruits convention Gloire board.  The Night of the Wolf sets Howard's Solomon Kane against The Wolf and his men, both are intent on finding the three friars, for various reasons!  

The terrain is not quite finished, but here are some 80% done shots for no reason other than EasyEight and I figured out how to post photos here.












This terrain is mostly Armorcast stuff I have had for years and was using for games like Mordheim.  I had never had the impetus to finish off the cathedral, so I used the Convention pressure method to push myself.  After another couple of hours of debris-ing up the interior of the cathedral I will be satisfied with it.

One of these days I will figure out how to rotate that damned picture, hope nobody gets a crooked neck!

Sinewgrab, I was once like you, now I have the tools and the know-how, and after a few months of posting stuff like that, I can start urging folks to follow suit.  I don't have that kind of "Lead-cred" yet, but I am working on it.  

I will get more pictures from the convention next weekend, and the finished project will be a little different, hopefully better looking.

Ok.....played on this board tonight. Very nice board, Very nice scenario.
UncleRhino and the gang were fun to play with.
Going back tomorrow to play on their Flash Gordon board before UncleRhino shivs someone (everyone kept playing the Gangsters board).
The more I get to play the RatTrap games the more I like them (Only second game so far, but I have most of the rules).

Being kind of a jerk like I am, I am going to wait until the convention is over to post any pictures, but I can tell you this so far.

1.  I have not lost my cool yet
2.  People keep commenting on the terrain, and wanting to buy it...
3.  If somebody does not play the fricking Flash Gordon game today, I will violate #1.
4.  Tredhead had an opponent that was truly horrifying to play against...a teenage girl...and a bloodthirsty one!
5.  The .45 Adventure game was the most popular, and I think the best looking of the three that we had, it had the best "feel" to it, and is a fairly complex scenario...I would like to actually get to play it sometime...I never get to actually play anymore...
6.  You don't pull on Superman's cape, you don't spit in the wind, you don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger, and for the love of everything you don't piss off a junkyard dog.
