Painting Reference sought

I've a very nice mounted british officer figure but an idea of how to paint it properly. Has anyone got a pictoral reference they could share please?

Does he look like he's in Service Dress, Undress, Walking Out Dress, Cap, Wolseley Helmet or what?

Well they all look the same to me...

It's Great War miniatures B113 - British Cavalry Command.
There's a bad picture of the fig here: http://www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=389 It's the one with a pistol.

I was thinking of doing it like General Haig, but there's no colour photos of him...

Something like this, but the cap would be the same colour as the tunic, with brown leather, or tunic colour peak and brown leather straps.

That will do you pretty much until 1938-1940. I have no idea why the guy on the left in the last photo has a different tunic colour... but he has a different cap badge and I'm guessing he's a colonial type.
