Alternate Figures for Epic Heroes
« on: December 21, 2012, 06:53:57 PM »
So, those of you who own my game Brink of Battle are aware that I built the rules to be used with ANY miniatures.  And to prove I meant ANY, here are some shots from a game with our friend Matt.

Drew & I have been running Epic Heroes Fantasy playtesting for Brink of Battle every Thursday night at The Launchpad Comics & Games here in Lodi, CA.

Matt rolled up with a big box of his Heroscape figures.  He had a gob of stuff, mostly very decent in the paint job and sculpt departments.  He probably had 100 figures ranging from Weird War 2 US soldiers armed with sci-fi weapons, to modern MIB agents, Vikings, an Adventuring party for fantasy, and a heaping helping of fantasy monsters.

Of note were his Cyclops, Demonic Centaur, and Demon Lord.

So we whipped out the calculator and made his monster force to square off with Drew's Adventuring party, and my old Marauder Dark Elf Scouts, the Blood Tears Sacrifice.

Here are a few pics from that night starting with the Two Bridges board we set up.

So as you can see, if its a miniature you can use it.  With the Epic Heroes supplement you can build virtually any type of fantasy force you can imagine!

Hey Faust, cool looking game! It is very appealing to think that you can use any creature in your war band. It would be cool to be able to have dragons, demons and ogres in one band.

Keep the updates coming,
 Damien

Thanks Damien.  We love that aspect too.  It gives us a chance to 'buy in' to what we're playing, rather than playing what someone else thinks we should play.
