Brittania Miniatures
« on: December 27, 2012, 10:23:10 PM »
I'm working on my US cavalry, and am looking for an officer in buckskins. I have both the Artisan and the Foundry personalities, and have (or am in the process of) paited all of them up, so I am looking for figures (mounted and dismounted) who look a little bit different.

Does anybody have painted examples of what the Old West Brittania miniatures look like? The appeal is that they are sold as singles, so I only need to purchase figures I would use immediately.

Thanks for all the help.

They are very big and chunky and will not blend well with Artizan or Foundry. They are a very distinctive range, they look great on their own, but do not mixin my opinion with anything.

Have a look at Dixon Miniatures, they have some decent US Cavalry figures from Custers command in buckskins and can also be purchased separately.

If you are still interested in Britannia, Matakishi  has some pics I think somewhere in his Teahouse.

Sure. Right now all I have set up is a crappy cell phone camera, but I'll post a few pics of Foundry and Artizan together tomorrow.
