BTD Goblin army I've been working on Updated 13/4/13
« on: December 23, 2012, 04:05:12 PM »
I'm new here so thought I'd show some of my meager painting skills to the community.
An army of BTD Goblins( with a few heroe's and command from Heartbreaker, trolls from reaper) I've been working on, C&C welcomed. few more units to do .

Goblins are THE COOLEST...your GREAT looking collection proves it out.
I abandoned the green look for my own Goblins a few years ago. I hadn't considered blue, but your Lads look TERRIFIC...probably has something to do with blue being considered a cool color. At any rate, VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks for the comments, glad you like them! No group shots yet, will get some when the army is done.

The blue skin works really well! I'm not sure about the grey basing though, it doesn't set the models off. A brown would have contrasted a little better, but no issue!

Fantastic stuff, keep it up. :)

Excellent stuff... I always imagined Goblins with Blue or red skin and these look great.

Did them in the grey to match a terrain board I have, invading dwarven lands.

Blue works for me - nice painting and a nice little collection of figures you have there.

These Boys in Blue are REALLY COOL...I love the wavy bladed spears. Your paint jobs & basing are TERRIFIC...the spots of orange add a lot to the overall effect. GREAT WORK!

I like these little guys a lot! Black Tree Design eh? I might have to look them up. As I wrote before, I like the blue skin tones but I also like the brown and orange robes. Are the shields free hand? Either way the orange and green work really well together.

Keep it up,
 Damien

Thanks for the kind words guy's. BTD is always running sales as well Damien.
Shields are not free hand, there the metal shields that come with them. Wish I could do free hand that well.
