I'm really glad to see some energy developing about it. It's beautifully put together and lots of hard work has gone into it.

I look forward to hearing what everyone thinks! :)

I've ordered today,

Looks like a fun game, very 'flintloque-y' hopefully,

Regards

Hi Jim

if you are a Flintloque fan, you will like this. It is written by the original creator of Flintloque, Mac Coxhead. The sculpts are beautiful as well!

Cheers!
Rob

Looks pretty cool!  I saw this a while ago and was looking forward to hearing more.

The box set comes with 20 miniatures for the two sides and says its ready to play.  Are most games that small or is it written with bigger battles in mind?  Just curious as a potential customer - how many figures would I want to have to take full advantage of the rules?

The rules are skirmish rules. They are designed to be easy enough to play with lots of figures, but still fun and challenging with less.

Your average game at the moment will be 20 models, 6 Orcs to 14 halflings. However, I have played games with double that with ease. You just have to use tokens more often (which are, again, supplied in the box and available seperately).

Dave, who penned the rules, is confident that you could play the game with 100 models comfortably. There will be lots of extras coming out including different races (with national/regional parallels)...

When I get all my painted models back, it is my intention to do a 'playing the game' video, describing how the game works!!!

I'm looking forward to that video; I enjoyed the other videos as well. Are they yours?

Yep, those are mine!  :)

It's been great working with Mac and Dave on them too.

Sounds good, I might just have to try the game out.  If for nothing else than the Noman orcs!  Now, if LAM puts out some roman-esque goblins, it would make things even sweeter.

Also, for those of you who love greenskin antics, I suggest reading the history of Nome on the website:
