Many thanks for all the responses! I am going with the silver design as it is by far the most popular in the 3 places online that I have posted the thread and, having looked at the models side by side for a few days now, I fully agree!!  :D

I now just need to actually get painting!

I've also just ordered these:



from here: http://sciborminiatures.com/  (some brilliant models on here and loads of fab accessories for conversion freaks...) as I think they'll look fabulous for the models I paint as 'Elven elites' for the 'Dux Middle Earth' idea that I'm working on...

I think they look really rather cool and will further serve to reinforce the 'uniqueness' of my Elf army. As I don't ever play in GW events or in GW stores, there'll be no issue using them in friendly games of LOTR SBG at the club...
