I still try to find out how this machinery would work. I don´t really care, it looks totally cool and that´s enough for me, but as an actual steam engine it doesn´t look familiar...

Not to worry; too oft I've betrayed doubt, only to have it utterly smashed.

'How could you say there's a worry of lurching? See? The engine room is gyro-stabilized...' lol

Thanks for your faith, Doug!

As to whether there will be much lurching, maybe that might be relative to the number of legs I build? (The clue's in the name...)

I feel that a six-legged walker would be somewhat less unsteady than a four-legged one, although possibly slower.

So glad you're all enjoying this one so far. Wonder how many of you will stick around for the months and months yet to come...

Very nice!  I don't mind the lack of dirt, I've seen boiler rooms in action.

Wonderful riveting rivet madness!  :-*

Bit early to ask about further plans maybe but are there any? :)

Bezzo - faithful as ever! I'm honoured, Sir!

Joe Fish - more rivets to come soon!

Pocoloco - BIG further plans! This thing is going to be absolutely HUGE! I've barely started.

Read back through my blog a month or so and you'll see...

Utter madness! I don't whether to applaud you or call the Arkham Asylum? :D Quite a project and with the set time-frame, all the more frantic indeed.

You would put such capabilities at the hands of the residents of Arkham?

Now that IS madness!

And, no, it's not Sparta...  lol

Faithful continue...

O Colonel my Colonel...

just keep it coming. Best scratchbuilt stuff ever.

I hope to have some kind of an offer for something we discussed previously by the summer. My gaming budget is kind of spoken for through then.

What, no working pistons and clouds of steam?  :o  ;)

Lovely light features... it will be a beauty when finished.

Steam?! Are you nuts? That's acrylic paint and balsa wood, man!

Glad you like!

So you need to purchase a small fog machine for the artificial steam effect :D
