Yes, I saw them earlier and thought they exuded quality. The gun is a nice piece too.

I don't know all that much about the Tudors, unusually I didn't even touch on them at school however I love these minis so might have to do a bit of reading and perhaps watch 'The Tudors' for some inspiration. They do look cracking!

PLEASE don't watch "The Tudors!"  Its rubbish.  If you want real inspiration and accurate period renditions (and costuming! which The Tudors lacks!), try the two Elizabeth movies,;or the old BBC Henry the VIIIth series; or the Glenda Jackson BBC "Elizabeth R"  series; or the movie "Mary Queen of Scots" (with Glenda Jackson reprising her Elizabeth role); or even the old "Sea Hawk" movie.

Agreed "Tuders" is pretty fail when it comes to history. More of a live action live in Renascence fair, but with less fat chicks sporting fairy wings and elf ears.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

The Tudors has a lot of potential for inspiration and, as long as you don't take it too seriously, it is great entertainment, just like the Borgias, Kingdom of Heaven etc. :D

The secret is being able to switch off and enjoy these things for what they are.

Some fantastic other options there though  :)
