Air War over Italy
« on: January 04, 2013, 03:39:12 PM »
Some new rumblings over at the TooFatLardies about revisiting their air rules had me dig out an old article and take a new look at it.  I started to think about setting up a campaign game for either Summer 1916 or August 1917 over the Isonzo Front with their Algernon Pulls it Off air rules.  Anyway, this has led me to purchase some Shapeways aircraft for the Summer 1916 period that should be in next week: a pair of Eindecker E.IIIs for the Austro-Hungarians and some Nieuport 10s for the Italians.

More of my ramblings on this are on my blog: http://cstoesen.blogspot.com/2013/01/happy-new-year-lets-fly.html

I'm trying to avoid getting sucked into another period, even though I have the original Algy rules.  But the combination of prepainted planes and this new hexless system is making it harder and harder....
