Studio Miniatures

Are the Mad Max and Walking Dead figures produced by Studio Minis any good in the flesh? The paintjobs on the website make them look good but are they simply overly polished turds?

Yes they are good in the flesh or yes they are overly polished turds?

Or yes, they are overly polished turds that look good in the flesh?

They look pretty good in the flesh, I have mine in bare metal right now. I have put a coat of paint on the Hogan miniture and it's turned out pretty well and I'm a horrible painter. So yes they are good in the flesh.

Stone Cold Lead painted some of them. Very beautiful IMHO.

I really want to order but Im kinda of a spaz and nervous about it and if they do that will allow me a little piece of mind that everything will go flawless, i order and recieve the minis no prlbms.

You could send them an email and ask that they do it for you. It would probably cost more though.

If you are  in the US, the Warstore carries them.  They don't list all the newer ones but contact Neal there and I bet he can get them for you.

I live in the US too and have ordered every zombie and survivor set Studio Miniatures has released as they have offered them
for sale directly from Studio Miniatures.  I have always received my package and have never had any problem.  Sometimes it takes
about three weeks to get my order, sometimes it is faster than that.

Unrelated, but Sgt Major also has some of the best Goblins and dwarves out there.

If you don't like GW green gorillas or GW LOTR orcs, Sgt Major is unique.

I only have the Dixon and Grimes family figures they are really nice sets. Dixons a beauty. My painting is average at best.
