Indeed, I can only dream to produce at such a pace and to such a quality. I think I would need to have a shed first though :D

Missus wouldn't be pleased to notice that I have taken up the whole work room for my projects :D

Giles, is it?  Well, then, Giles, I just went to your blog and read your Setting Scenarios post.  It is possible, however unlikely, we may be long lost brothers.  That is so in synchronicity with my own thinking on how to design a game, though mine tend to have quite a few figures in them.  Still, the essentials of scenario design remain the same despite the size of what's on the board.  Certainly, there will be some adjustments but, all-in-all, it is, at least for me, just as you say.  Though I always try to inject a dose of humor as well.  And I love the extra 'bits and bobs', or what I sometimes call the 'atmospherics' of the game.  Nothing wrong with a straight game, but I like to add those bits, a little more spice into it to enhance the flavor.  Good show, sir.  And, as always, excellent modeling.

Hi Fifteens away – yes the real name is Giles

Thank you for your positive comments with regards to the latest posting on my blog. It is appreciated.

For those of you eagerly waiting the next instalment on Pirate Island I am so sorry that things have begun to drag.

The chief culprit has been the weather, with temperatures barely rising above freezing the shed is no place to build terrain. I have now finished all of the Pirates (some 100+ figures) and of course the Pirate Ship.

Taking advantage of Ainsty Castings March deal I have also invested in a couple more boats so hopefully they will arrive soon. If you haven’t seen this 20% offer head over to the site now you still have a few days left. 20% off a £75 Warship certainly makes it an attractive deal – I bought the small boat and the merchantman for under £100 including postage.

In addition to the weather both work and family commitments seem to have stepped up a gear so again less time for major construction.
